What is Fractional Skin Resurfacing?
Resurfacing involves removing or ablating targeted layers of skin to stimulate the growth of new, healthy tissue. When performed fractionally, the treatment focuses on small, precise areas in a controlled pattern. This approach minimizes overall damage while promoting healing and rejuvenation throughout the surrounding skin.
Using advanced laser or radiofrequency technology, resurfacing is achieved through carefully controlled heat energy. When deeper stimulation is required within the dermis, the treatment creates microscopic columns that extend through the epidermis into the dermal layer—encouraging collagen renewal and long-term skin improvement.
