What is a Chemical Peel?

Mandelic Acid (MA)

EnerPeel® MA exfoliates the skin, but with minimal or no erythema (redness of the skin). The peel can be left on for between 2 and 10 minutes, depending on your specific requirements and what your practitioner recommends.It is then neutralised, however for a greater remodelling impact, we leave it on your skin and send you home with a neutralizer wipe to use in the evening.

Salicylic Acid (SA)
Salicylic Acid 30%
Designed for the treatment of acne and contains active ingredients from Tebiskin® OSK skin creams to deliver high doses of antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and sebum and cell turnover slowing ingredients to the pilosebaceous duct.
This, combines with salicylic acid reduces oil production, exfoliates the skin and allows access to the duct opening. This peel is also great for controlling the inflammatory phase of papules and pustules and can be used on the back and chest, as well as on the face and neck.

Pyruvic Acid (PA)
Pyruvic Acid 50% MSM 10%
This gentle but highly-effective, medical-grade, anti-ageing peel is the next most active acid peel to a TCA peel, but with a much greater safety profile. It can address multiple signs of ageing, including pigmentation and open pores.
EnerPeel® PA is a keto acid, which means it has a sebum-slowing effect like salicylic and beta hydroxyl acids, but penetrates much deeper. A PA peel can be very effective at treating post-acne damage and oiliness, after an initial SA peel.
What can an EnerPeel® PA peel treat?
- Excess oil (Seborrhoea)
- Photo-ageing (sun-damage) on the neck and décolleté

Jessner’s (JR)
Salicylic Acid 15%, Lactic Acid 20%, Resorcinol 20%
This peel is a true all-rounder. Lactic acid and resorcinol are extremely effective in the treatment of hormonal, age and sun related hyperpigmentation.

Does RF skin tightening hurt?
EndyMed skin tightening is generally tolerated well and any discomfort felt during treatment is often minimal. Most individuals describe the sensation as a warm or heating sensation on the skin, similar to that of a sunburn. The treatment and device used has been specifically designed to be non-invasive and comfortable for patients.
While most people find the procedure to be tolerable, sensitivity to pain varies between people. To ensure your comfort, your healthcare professional or aesthetician may apply a cooling gel or use other techniques to minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure. They can also adjust the settings of the EndyMed device to suit your comfort level.
It’s important to communicate openly with your healthcare professional or aesthetician about any concerns or discomfort you may experience during the treatment. They can make adjustments as necessary to ensure a comfortable and effective procedure.
How many sessions will I need for best results?
The duration and number of sessions required can vary depending on many individual factors. These include the desired results, condition of the skin originally, and area being treatment.
Typically, we recommend a course of 6 treatments, one week apart to achieve optimal results.
How long does it take to see results?
This can vary, depending on the individual, on the area being treated, and on the settings used.
Results following a Derma FNS® treatment can take up to 4-6 weeks to appear, and as the repair process continues over the following months, these will begin to become more noticeable. We recommend a course of 4 Derma FNS® treatments, carried out 4 weeks apart for optimum skin regeneration.
Which areas can be treated with Derma FNS?
Derma FNS® can be used to treat the face for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles and skin rejuvenation. Unlike dermaroller treatments, the Derma FNS® has the advantage of being able to treat the upper lip and smokers lines, as well as the crows feet around the eyes. It can also be used on the body to improve the appearance of stretch marks. Pricing for the treatment of stretchmarks may vary depending on the treatment area and size of the area, however a full consultation with our aesthetician will help determine a package price for you.
Who is the treatment suitable for?
Derma FNS® is safe for most skin types and is particularly effective for clients looking to improve scarring or uneven skin texture, those wanting to address early signs of ageing, and anyone seeking noticeable results without the use of lasers or injectables. However, the treatment is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or experiencing active skin infections or inflammatory skin conditions.
